Why bisphosphate and not diphosphate?
The two phosphate groups are attached to different carbon atoms. If they were attached to the same carbon atom it would be called a diphosphate
How is NADP (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate) reduced?
The protons from the water molecule combine with the electrons from the second electron acceptor in the Z-scheme and these reduce NADP
