Narrative therapy
narrative therapy avoid pigeonholing people as normal or abnormal and reject General principal about what causes problems or what resolves them.
In the spirit of collaboration narrative therapist situate themselves with clients ;that is to disclose to the beliefs that inform their therapy so that client can know what they are getting into.
Clients are also encourage to educate therapist regarding their cultural predicaments and to correct them when they make assumptions that don't fit the conscious experience.
