Separable verbs have 2 parts: a prefix and the main verb. In a sentence the prefix goes to the end.
einsteigen (to get in): Ich steige (verb) in das taxi ein (prefix).
I get in the taxi
Seperable verbs form the past participle as one word with the ge- in the middle
eingekauft
shopped
Reflexive verbs are always used with a reflexive pronoun (mich, dich, sich, etc)
ich freue mich
du freust dich
er/sie/es freut sich
wir freuen uns
ihr freut euch
Sie/sie freuen sich
Ich wasche mich im Badezimmer; i wash myself in the bathroom
