*child - physical characteristics, innate qualities, resilience, exposure to various experiences - individual (child/young person)
How does this change across time?
*changing views and values of society, migration, globalisation, social constructionism of childhood
What is a social ecological perspective and how can it help us to understand and develop practice with children, young people and families?
A holistic approach to childcare, enables:
*an understanding of a child in their family, community and society for a better picture of their needs and understanding of their behaviour, supporting their family and community as well as the child/young person, maybe influencing society - policies/viewpoints/support/practice etc
