What is anti-semitism?
The prejudice against Jewish people.
What did Hitler blame the Jewish for?
He blamed them for Germany's defeat in WWI. Therefore, the Nazi's made Jewish People's life very difficult.
How did the Nazi's show their hatred of Jewish people?
- Jewish shops were boycotted.
- Jews were forced to sell their businesses.
- Jewish homes, businesses and synagogues were burned down (Kristallnocht).
- Laws were passed that made it illegal for Jews and non-jews to marry (Nuremberg laws).
What happened at a Nazi conference in 1942?
They decided the Final Solution. Jewish people were to be taken to camps. (Eg. Auschwitz, Dakou).
