For Claude McKay, he said that his people should not die without honor. If he does die, let it be noble and not in vein. Be recongized for your beliefs. For the thousand bad things that they have done to them they will put a stop to descrimination.
Langston Hughes was saying that it does not matter what the color of your skin is, all that matters is that if people try to put us down then we will become stronger then before.
