Developed Point
Gaza has little rain and no major fresh water source, 97% of Gaza households rely on water to be delivered by tanker trucks.
Developed Point - Analysis
If these trucks were unable to deliver to the people of Gaza their health would be put at a major risk, if out of desperation they were forced to drink the groundwater in the Gaza Strip their health would be put at an even further risk due to 95% of groundwater in the Gaza Strip being polluted by raw sewage
Developed Point Two
Before 2014, a monthly average of 4,000 people crossed into Egypt for medical reasons alone.
Developed Point Two - Analysis
However, due to the closure of the Rafah crossing, the people of Gaza are now unable to seek medical attention in Egypt. Once again this puts the health of the people of Gaza at risk due to medical supply and equipment in Egypt being unavailable to the people of Gaza.
Developed Point Two - Evaluation
