How does the body maintain homeostasis?
Regulates body temperature-
sweat released and evaporates to cool body down and evaporation brings down body temp.
Blood vessels dilate and skin reddens as blood goes to skin to release heat.
What does the blood reservoir do?
Houses extensive network of vessels 8-10% of total blood flow is in skin
