Setting up a table
The general rules that the utensils need to be on level with the bottom line of the dinnerware while the dinnerware itself should be approximately one inch from the edge of the table. The utensils need to be in clear view, and yet not to far away from the plates, so once again approximately one inch, from the plate, while you will need about fifteen inches between that and your next place setting. Your glassware needs to be placed approximately an inch above the tip of the dinner knife.
