There are two catagories:
- inherited
- infectious
There are three types of infectious diseases:
- viruses
- bacteria
- eukaryotic pathogens

What are Pathogens?
Pathogens are infectious diseases.
What are Viruses?
Viruses are micro organisms that infect a host's cell, they feed off of the hosts resources.
they need to infect a cell to reproduce.
It's difficult to develop drugs for them without affecting the host's cells.
