DA: Posterior surface of tibia superior to soleal line
Action: Rotates femur 5 degrees, unlocks your knee so you can flex your knee
Function: unlocks the knee

Action: Plantarflexion of toes
Function: Stabilises longitudinal arches of foot
Flexor Hallucis Longus
PA: Inferior 2/3 of posterior surface of fibula; inferior part of interosseous membrane
DA: Base of distal phalange of first digit (hallux)
Action: Flexes great toe at all joints, weakly plantarflexes ankle
Function: Stabilises medial longitudinal arch of foot
