graveyards with graves and tombstones and sometimes percieved as a labyrinth (having entrapping quality)
Claustrophobia
dread of being confined in a small and close narrow space, physical imprisonment/ claustrophobia, or being entrapped in their own destiny/ demise. (Changeling: Isabella imprisoned in the madhouse, Beatrice entrapped by De Flores; Macbeth: Macbeth entrapped by guilt and psychological dissolution, Lady MAcbeth: unable to forget the guilt, Bloody Chamber, Erl King, Beast from Mr Lyon trapped in his own body)
Gothic Counterfeit
A playful fakery of authencity. An original story being edited to the editors relief
Devil
incarnate of all evil and is the ruler of all things demonic. Opposition to god and a major part of Christianity and many other religions, also called Satan creating the impulses to do bad things. (Macbeth: Witches, Lady Macbeth, Ghosts at an extent)
Dopple ganger
ghostly counterpart of a living person. A like but different at the same time. (Changeling: Tomazo when he smells the blood of Alonzo on him), could be a double or an alter ego or even a hallucination
