1. Individual rights: in an authoritarian gov, you don't have freedom of speech, but in the u.s, we do.
2. Consent of the gov: In an authoritarian gov, you don't have to let the citizens agree with your decisions you just do it, in the us. It is the opposite
3. Representative gov: In the us gov. We choose our representatives to represent our country. But in other countries, the representatives are chosen for them.
