General Questions - General General Questions Conduct an interview at one social service agency that uses advocates within their agency. Interview an individual who works either as an advocate or as a representative who can discuss the role of advocacy within the agency. Prepare a 1- to 2-page written summary of the interview, to be used as part of your final presentation in Week Five, in the summary: · Name the agency or organization and title of the interviewee. · Describe the advocacy role this individual plays within the agency. · Describe the populations served by this agency. · Describe an advocacy model or template that is used with each population. Is the advocate speaking on behalf of the client or assisting the client in speaking for himself or herself? · Describe how this individual became involved in the role of advocate. · Ask the interviewee: o to describe what is most rewarding about his or her work o what he or she would change about his or her job if it were possible to do so o to identify the reason he or she became an advocate o how his or her personal values affect upon the performance of the duties required o how different this responsibility is from what he or she expected when starting the position Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.
