A material having metallic characteristics and made up of two or more elements at least one of which is metal
A steel that contains all the elements found in steels, but with additional alloying elements such as nickel chromium and molybdenum to exchange certain desirable mechanic and or physical properties

What is capillary action?
A form of surface tension between the molecules of a liquid and those of a solid. capillary action causes the liquid soldering or brazing material to flow into the small openings between wetted surfaces. For example, when brazing copper tubing into a socket joint, you need to only to add the brazing alloy to one part of the joint. capillary action causes the alloy to flow throughout the entire joint, also known as capillary attraction
