What is the CIRCULATORY SYSTEM made up of?
The heart and blood vessels.
What makes up the HEART?
A 4 chambered organ with left and right atria (upper chambers), and left and right ventricles (lower chambers).
What's the difference between veins and arteries?
Veins carry blood to the heart and arteries carry blood to the heart. Generally, arteries carry oxygenated blood, with the exception of the pulmonary arteries which carry oxygen poor blood to the lungs to be oxygenated (and vice versa for the pulmonary veins).
