Macromolecules
The molecular scale of life molecules are gigantic they have four categories carbohydrates, proteins, nucleic acids, and lipids.
Macromolecules polymers vs. Monomers
Polymers are made by stringing together smaller molecules called monomers.
Dehydration reaction link two monomers, together and removes a molecule of water.
Hydrolysis break bondsbetween monomers, add a molecule of water, and reverse the dehydration reaction.
Macromolecules creation and destruction polymers
To create polymer a short polymer and monomer makes longer polymer .
Destruct a polymer in with water breaks into hydrolysis and breaks the chain.
