-Law: theory with unusually high level of confidence

-Idea that needs to be proven/disproven through experimentation.
-Hypothesis leads to experimentation.

-Control tests of hypothesis that eliminate outside influence/biases.
-If experiment proves hypothesis true can lead to Theory.
