Elizabeth Cady Stanton

she is an american suffragist, social activist, abolitionist and a leading figure in the early women's rights movement. From 1892-1900, she was the predident of the naitonal women siffrage association. this aassociation was created in response to a split in the american equal rights association over whether the women movement should opposed the amendment unless included to vote for women. thus stanton is important to achieving the right to vote for women

Friedrich Engels

he is a german philospher, social scientist and journalist. he co-founded the marxist theory with Karl Marx. The Theory highlight the concepts of class stuggle that plays a role in society's development. He made important contributions to family economics in his research. it was his belief that patriarchy revolved around private propery. it began with an accumulation of economic surplus, which led to the validation of private property. this leads to the creation of class hierarchies and women's oppression
