Corneal graft (post op)

Excision of corneal tissue and its replacement by a cornea from a human donor.


High astigmatism from tension of stitching.


Anisometropia.


Bandage lens: slow release drugs, reduced corneal sensitivity.


Hard lenses:good VA for astigmatism.

Trichiasis

Signs:


Lacrimation, vascularisation, scarring.


Bandage lens: soft and silicone lenses.


Drug release.

Coloboma

Mostly congenital but also can be through trauma, iritis.


May be amblyopic if not corrected. Cosmetic soft lens, hand painted, opaque backing and black pupil.
