Photography skills
In my prelim product my photography skills were good, but limited. In my overall product I had various photos included that demonstrated different skill levels, eg. group shots and solo made to fit different purposes.
Sell lines (front cover)
My prelim product featured very few sell which were very spread out and large. I took this on board when making my final product and tried to come up with more sell lines that were placed better and relevantly. I looked at a lot of professional magazines when doing this part.
Fonts
I used very basic fonts in my prelim product. In my final product I tried to make sure the fonts I used reflected the magazine and were relevant, especially on the front page.
Colours
For my final product I used a colour pallet of red, black and white. I did this because a lot of the professional magazines I looked at had similar colour and they all seemed very popular. Furthermore, those colours would appeal to both genders and reflect my target audience.
Content
The content of my final product would appeal to a larger audience than my prelim product, this is because my prelim product was aimed at the students at my college (mainly female because of the colours and layout). And my final product is aimed at general "indie" people.
