Lawmaking ability goes to Congress
Article 1 Section 2

House of Representatives
Term - 2 years
Age - 25
Residency - 7 years US Citizen and a member of the state he's elected from
Representation decided on by population in state
No more than 1 rep for every 30,000 people
House choses Speaker and Officers
Article 1 Section 3

Senate
Term - 6 years
Age - 30 years old
Residency - 9 years US Citizen and a resident of the state
VP presides over Senate (but can only break a tie)

Cannot be arrested when going to or returning from session

Lawmaking Procedures
Money bills must start in the House and then be approved by the Senate; then the president has to approve it. If he rejects it, the Senate can override his veto with 2/3 majority. If the President doesn't respond to it in 10 days then it is automatically a law.
Pocket Veto - if Congress leaves within the 10 days then the President doesn't have to do anything and it becomes vetoed effectively

Powers of the President
- Commander in Chief of army, navy, and state militia
- President may pardon people of offenses against the US
- Make treaties (with 2/3 senate)
- Can appoint a bunch of people (officers, ambassadors, Supreme Court Judges, etc.)
- President can call both Houses together
- Must carry out laws of US faithfully

Removal of President
- Impeachment for "treason, bribery, and other high crimes and misdemeanors"
- Charges start in HoR, Pres is then tried in Senate, and the Chief Justice provides over the case (so as to not put the VP in a rough place)
