What is first-order change?
Alters, rearranges or replaces the individual members of a group. In the long run, same problem often reoccur with new members.
What is second-order change?
Considers that a group is more than just a sum of individuals - there are relationships between and among members, shared goals, agendas, and relationships of power. Change is generally more permanent.
