Community-wide AIDS education
Type of primary prevention.
Peer norms better predictor of AIDS risk bx than knowledge about AIDS among heter high school and college students. Homosexual males knowledge of AIDS reduce risky bx
Programs should target peer norms - Peer based education, encounters w/peers w/AIDS, peer moderated discussion groups.

9th leading cause, 30k per year.

Motive: attention, impulse, manipulate, avoid, anger, benefit
Prevention:
