Define Inclusion.
Need to be included. We try to maintain a balance between being together and being alone. Tend to associate extroverted behavior with people who have strong inclusion needs. We tend to associate introverted behavior with low inclusion needs. Introverts are generally seen as reserved and serious. Each of us Moves along a continuum of high/low inclusion needs. Having a network of social ties often provides us with emotional caring and a sense of personal control over our environment.
Define Control.
The need to have control of your life. Most people want to acheieve a balance, we want control in some situations and to be controlled in others. See terms overhelping and sandbagging. Sometimes we may gravitate toward a position of avoiding control.
define Overhelping.
Wilson. Purposely helping another so that success is attributed to yourself.
Define sandbagging.
Act weak, then let it rip as they feel guilty.
Define affection.
The need to be loved and feel cared for. Affection is important to our interpersonal health and includes behaviors known as rewarding, supporting, generous, cooperative, sympathetic, warm, etc. Affection needs sometimes are difficult to satisfy.
