How do you Dx COPD?
1. CXR: Hyperinflated Lungs, Parenchymal bullae or sublpleural blebs (pathognomonic of emphysema)
2. PFT
3. ABG: Hypoxemia w/ acute or chronic respiratory acidosis
4. Blood culture: obtain if pt is febrile
5. Gram stain and sputum culture: Obtain if pt has fever or pruductive cough
