Intensity |
During the patient intake, we underline symptoms according to their intensity. 0: common and/or unclear sx 1: slight intensity, somewhat clear; occasional 2: moderately intense, clear, frequent 3: sx is very intense; high degree of clarity; occurs very often |
|
There are 7 steps in basic case analysis: 1. Underline sx according to the intensityduringcase taking. 2.Identify Theme stunning through case (sensation described in many aspects of life – victim or being squeezed/constricted) 3.Group symptoms according to theme they represent. 4.Valorize (value) sx according to the “CHI system” 5.Pull out sx with highest value + place them inorder of value to form characteristic picture. 6. Repertorize case using sx of highest value. 7.Choose most appropriate remedy based on your study of materia medica. |
1underlines = sx more clear, present and more intense 2underlines= sx very clear, intensity is moderate to high and occurrence is more thanoccasional 3underlines- sx highestclarity and intensity is very often 4underlines - extra-ordinaryintensity (very rare) ex. someone who eats only meat at every meal |
|
6 Steps further in case analysis: 1.Underline the words that link outer image to inner truth. i.Repeat words: Mind body words. Not connected to logic. ii.Characteristics words: Repeat in 2 or more particular situations. iii.Spontaneous denial: Too strong to ignore so deny. iv.Nonsensical words: Freudian slip, don’t fit. v.Polarity words: Deep state of feeling opposite vi.Source words: Describe substance life or history vii.Metaphoror Simile words: As if… |
2. Note all hand gestures in the case (HG). 3. Note sensation words. 4.Connect dots to build the inner picture. 5.Form imbegriff – that underlies whole case 6.Search materia medica. |
