Describe the 4 basic elements of normal movement

what is isotonic excercise
excercise in which the muscles shortens to produce muscle contraction and active movement
what is isometric(STATIC OR SETTING) excercise
there is a change in muscle tension but there is no change in muscle length and no muscle or joint movement
describe isokinetic excercise
involves muscle contraction or tension against resistance can be eithere isotonic or isometric
describe aerobic excercise
the amount of oxygen taken in th body is greater than that used to perform the activity(walking, jogging, dancing, swimming etc..
what is anearobic excercise
muscles cannot draw out enough oygen from the blood stream and anaerobic pathways are used to provide additional energy for a short time, usually used in endurance training
