First Law of Motion

If the net force acting on an object is zero, the object remains at rest or if in motion, continues moving in a straight line with constant speed.

Inertia

the tendency of an object to resist a change in its motion

Second law of Motion

the acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force on the object and indirectly proportional to its mass.

gravity

the attractive force between any two objects

The force of gravity depends on two things:

distance and mass

Weight

the gravitational force exerted on an object. measured in newtons.

Centripetal acceleration

Acceleration toward the center of a circular or curved path.

Centripetal force

the net force exerted toward the center of a curved path

Projectile

any object thrown into the air with only gravity acting on it.

Third Law of Motion

"to every action force their is an equal and opposite reaction force".

Momentum

p=mv

Law of Conservation of Momentum

If a group of objects exerts forces only on each other, their total momentum doesn't change.
