360 evaluation

an assessment of skills and competencies that is taken by an employee and all or a subset of stakeholders he r she interacts with, such as direct reports, peers, supervisors, clients, vendors, patients, and the like, in order to obtain multiple perspectives on abilities and demonstrated behaviors. paired with coaching for debrief and the formation of employee development plans and follow-through.

accountable care organization (aco)

an organization that can provide primary care, specialty care, and patient care for a population of patients. an aco and its physicians are collectively willing and able to take responsibility for the overall costs and quality of care for a population.

bench strength

a term used to refer to the growth of new leaders who can provide backup and eventually replace the current leaders in charge.
