For persons who need 24 HR care

Assisted living

Help with daily care (showers, dressing, meals, medications.) no 24hour skilled care. More independent

Adult daycare

Help and supervise during certain times. Not live in facility

Acute care

24hr skilled care in hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers. Short term, short stay for surgery.

Subacute care

Less care than acute care. Given in hospitals or long term care place. Treatment ends when condition stabilizes or when treatment is complete

Outpatient

Treatments or surgery and. Red short term care

Rehabilitation

Physical, occupational, and speech therapist restore or improve function after an illness or injury.

Hospice

Place for people who have 6 months or less to live. Provides physical and emotion comfort.
