John Smith
- An English adventurer who sailed to the Virginia colonies, and helped the colony increase in power and strength. He also brought would get help from the Natives.
- In 1607 he landed at Virginia, a month after their landing him and seven other leaders established Jamestown.

- This is a business entity which is help by two or more legal person.

- An indentured servant was a person under a contract having to work for someone as a servant.
- This allowed servants to work for a number of years and win their freedom also the owner could have a worker to help around their plantation or etc.
- They have been used through out history, as a form of slavery.

- English speaking protestants of the 16th and 17th centuries.
- their were for religion which went out to the Americas looking to form a colony of holy common wealth.
- Their were regarded as to be the first aggressive religion, which sought others as in pure.
John Winthrop
- A puritan who got a royal charter to sail to the Americas and receive land, this would soon form the Massachusetts Company.
- He was elected the governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony in1630, he would later be reelected 12 times.
Incas
Pachatucuti who founded the Inca Empire, which was located Cuzco area, this empire became the biggest empire in Pre-Columbian America.
Mayas
- Established during the Pre-Classical era, and some historians say that the Mayans reaced it highest state during the classical period.
- the mayans were contructed and developed astronomy, calendrical systems and hieroglyphic writing.
-They also constructed elaborate building and temples, their architecture was unique and extravagent, all made with out metal tools.
Chaco Canyon
-Located on the San Juan Basin of New Mexico, which was occupied but the Anasazi people.
-These canyon then later were used as building going up to about 5 stories and able to hold about seven hundred rooms.
- These building were able to have a water collection system and it was easy to communicate between each community.
- These buildings showed an organization of these people, and the Chaco canyon was at its center.
Woodland Indians
- This tribe established in Northern Georgia, were culturally and technically advanced. Creating intricately designed, building burial mounds and other ceremonial structures, and developing a system of trade relying on inland waterways and coastal passages.
-During there time of settlement the rise of agriculture began to rise, making them advanced in agriculture.
- By 500 A.D. weapons such as the bow and arrow spread throughout the tribes, making hunting much more efficient.
Mobile Societies (natives)
- A group of people who rely on the Game rather the agriculture.
