Frontal or Coronal Plane
divides the body into anterior and posterior sections (slice vertically, line from shoulder to shoulder)
Transverse (horizontal) plane
divides body in to superior and inferior sections (slice horizontally, forms a top and bottom)
Sagittal Plane
divides body into right and left sections (slice vertically, like between the eye)
Midsagittal Plane
