Body axes
A coordinate system fixed to the airplane. The origin is
at the center of gravity; the xb axis is in the airplane plane of symmetry
and points out the nose of the airplane; the zb axis is in the plane of
symmetry and points downward; and the yb axis is perpendicular to the
xb and zb axes and points out the right wing.

Pitch axis
The yb axis.
Static stability
If an airplane is disturbed from steady flight, static stability is the tendency of the airplane to automatically generate forces and moments which reduce the disturbance.
