Stance phase-
Allows the athlete to assume a comfortable and appropriately balanced body position from which to initiiate the sport skill.`
Preparatory phase
The chocking or wind-up phase, is used to lengthen the appropriate muscles sothat they will be in position to generate more force and momentum as the concentrically contract in the next phase
The Movement Phase
Kno as the acceleration, action, mortion, or contact phase, is the action part of the skill.
The Follow-through phase
Begins inmmediately after the lcimas of the movement phase, in order to bring about negative aceleration of the invloved limb or body segment. Often reffered to as the deceleration phase
The Recovery phase
Used after follow-through to regain balance and positioning ot be ready for the next sport demand
