Bulletins, Interim Changes, Formal Changes, and RAMECs.

A Bulletin is a?
|
TD which directs a one-time inspection to determine if a given condition exists and specifies what action shall be taken if the condition is found. It may contain instructions for corrective action using approved repair procedures, provided no change in configuration is involved; or it may require issuance of a change TD to remedy a deficiency.

Interim Change IS?
|
Urgency sometimes requires change incorporations be initiated without delay, following CCB approval. In such cases, proposed changes are submitted to COMNAVAIRSYSCOM in TD format and, after approval, are disseminated immediately by message.

A Formal Change TD is?
|
to direct that parts or material be added, removed, altered, relocated, or changed from an existing configuration. A Formal Change TD is always identified by title as an AFC, AVC, etc. Formal Change TDs are prepared per NAVAIR 00-25-300.
