Clicking
Pressing anc releasing left (primary) mouse button.
Double-Click
To point to an object and then quickly press and release the primary mouse button twice.
Dragging
Placing the mouse pointer on an object and then pressing and holding down the primary mouse button while moving the object on the desktop.
Graphical User Interface (GUI)
A visual or picture-oriented enviroment used by many software programs, including Windows XP.
Icons
Graphic images or symbols that represent applications (programs), files, disk, drives, document, embedded objects, or linked objects.
Linking
Feature that allows data to be transferred among programs and updated automatically.
Log Off
To exit the account you are using, but keep the computer on for you or another user to log on at a later time.
Log on
To access a computer system by identifying yourself and, if prompted, entering a password.
Mouse
An imput device that allows you to perform a variety of tasks, including selecting items, opening and closing files and folders, and moving items around the Windows desks.

Primary button
