a. IEM - Inactive Equipment Maintenance (IEM)
b. Status I and Status II Status I: Equipment that will remain on board and will be inactive for thirty days or longer and is not scheduled for corrective maintenance or overhaul. Status II: Equipment that is inactive for thirty days or longer and is directly subject to corrective maintenance, overhaul, or removal for safe storage/replacement. |

Equipment yard supervisor
|
- “Yard Boss” manages the equipment yard and the CESE parked in it
- cycles and exercises equipment - ensure that all operators are performing pre-start R checks, and that all Operators’ Inspection Guide and Trouble Reports and post operational R checks are done |

Collateral equipment custodian
|
o Inventory. Maintain an accurate up-to-date location list of the unit's Collateral
equipment using the CB 60 Form. o Order. Shortages and replacements shall be ordered when required. Ensure that appropriate records are maintained for each requisition submitted. This is done through proper use of the CB 60 Form. o Manage. Sub-custody of component collateral equipment is assigned to the operator or crew leader by signature on a CB 60 Form on an as needed basis. |

Dispatcher
|
normally an EO1, holds a key equipment management position in
the unit, and controls the day to-day equipment assignments and CESE usage. The Dispatcher's primary duties are to receive and evaluate requests for vehicles and then dispatch suitable equipment from authorized resources. It is the dispatcher's responsibility to check the operator's Vehicle Operator’s Identification Card (OF- 346) and license, when applicable, prior to issuing a trip ticket. Dispatchers must provide for the most economical use of manpower and equipment while ensuring equipment safety, security, and proper use. |

Maintains the Details, DFT or Detachments repair parts status and accountability records,
and is the liaison between the main body supply office and the Details, DFT or Detachment. All requisitions for not in stock (NIS) and not carried (NC) materials must pass though the DET RPPO who maintains the repair parts summary sheets. |

The PM Clerk also controls ERO flow, maintains an ERO log, maintains and updates equipment history jackets, and ensures the equipment status board in the Maintenance Office mirrors the one in Dispatch. The PM Clerk also summarizes the total cost of repair parts and labor expended, and makes appropriate entries on the ERO. |
