What are the eligibility requirements for a private pilot (airplane) certificate?
At least 17 years of age.
Read, write, speak and understand English.
Have at least a current Third class medical certificate.
Received required ground and flight training endorsements.
Meet the applicable aeronautical experience requirements.

What privileges and limitations apply to a private pilot?

d. may demonstrate an aircraft in flight to prospective buyer as salesman +200 logged flight hours
e. may act as PIC of aircraft towing a glider provided they meet the requirements of 14 CFR 61.69
