Joseph's brothers sold him because they were jealous of him.
How did Joseph get out of prison?
Joseph interpreted the Pharoh's dream with the help of God, so he was released from prison and became the second most powerful man in the kingdom.
What did the King's dream mean?
It meant that there would be 7 years of plenty followed by 7 years of famine.
Why did the new King begin to persecute Joseph's descendants?
Their descendants became to numerous in Egypt. The king feared that they might take over.
