Coronary Heart Disease (CHD)

A.K.A. Coronary artery disease (CHD), term for the narrowing of the coronary arteries that supply blood to the heart. A progressive disease that increases the risk if myocardial infarction of sudden death. CHP also usually results from the build up of fatty material and plaque.

Abnormal condition of the skin and mucous membranes caused by oxygen deficiency in the blood. The skin, fingernail and mucous membranes can appear slightly blue or gray.
