IV: 5-10mg slow IVP(May dilute in NS) can cause severe hypotension PO: 80-120mg/day in divided doses S/E: Photosensitivity, bradycardia, hypotension. Need to lay recumbent for 1 hr after IV dose. |

Slows hr down, increases PR and QT Intervals Dose: 800-1600mg/day initially then 400mg/day maintenance. IV 140mg over 10 minutes, then continuous drip S/E: Bradycardia, N/V, blue discoloration of skin, numbness in toes and fingers. |
