Class: Antiarrythmic, Purine Nucleoside
Action: Slows AV conduction, interrupts the reentry pathways
Indication:PSVT, wide complex tachycardia
Condrindications: 2nd & 3rd HB, Sick Sinus Syndrome
Precautions: Caffiene, promotes bronchospasm, potentiates Tegretol, half life <5 seconds
Side effects: CP, facial flushing, dyspnea, metallic taste

Precautions: pts on regular Nitrate tx need larger doses, Nitro shelf life 1-2 yrs. Nitro inactivated by light/air/moisture, Rx shelf life 3 months
Side effects: ETOC accentuates vasodilating & hypotensive effect.

Class: Synthetic Narcatic Agonist, Antagonist Analgesic
Action: Within 2-3 minutes, lasts 3-6 hours
Indication: CP, burns, frostbite, Sickle cell, extremity injury, give when MS contraindicated or SBP<90mmHg
