External recruitment
Appointing an employee of another business to fill vacancy. New/fresh ideas but may not be that good with the business.

Explains what the job involves and the type of person they want to apply for it. Shows the main duties and whether it's full or part time.

Lists the qualifications, experience and attitudes the ideal candidates would have.
Remuneration
Whatever the employee receives in return for the service they do for the employer. Usually wage or salary.
Salary
A set amount of money you get by the end of the year. e.g. £45,000 a year
Wage
A wage would be like saying how much money you get for every hour you work. e.g. £6.50 an hour.
Fringe Benefits
Fringe benefits are similar to payment. More like 'perks'. e.g. company car or staff discounts in shops.

-Increased output (caused by extra effort from workers)
-Improved quality (as staff take greater pride in their work)
-A higher level of staff retention (workers are keen to stay with the firm and reluctant to take unnecessary days off work.)

-Parents are entitled to paid leave from work soon after their children are born and the post must be kept open for when they come back.
-Protecting workers rights may increase costs.
Health and Safety
Procedures are put in place to prevent staff from being harmed or becoming ill at work. 'The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974' Health and safety procedures are enforced by the government.
