#1- Appoint in writing a PMRP coordinator to implement, monitor, and coordinate a formal PMRP.
#2- Submit a quarterly Recovery of Precious Metals Report by last day of the month following end of each fiscal year.
#3- Collect all excess precious metal items to turn into DRMO.
#4- Operate and maintain assigned PMR equipment.
#5- Ensure all personnel are trained in the operation of recovery equipment.
#6- Establish and maintain records of silver test paper results, and dates of chemical recovery cartridges.
#7- Provide security for the recovery equipment.
#8- Establish a PMRP audit board to review semiannually, the internal control procedures for precious metals.
#9- Account for, and turn in precious metal bearing items to DRMO.
#10- Request PMRP supplies from DRMS-RPE.
#11- Maintain contact with appropriate FSO’s.
#12- Maintain records on the PMRP participation of subordinate activities.
#13- MTF’s and DTF’s must use their internal resources to install recovery equipment.
