First noble truth |
Mental and physical suffering exist. Old age sickness and death. Anxiety, fear, and stress. Before one sees treatment one must realize they are sick. (Illness) |

Second noble truth |
Suffering must have a cause. Desire is the cause of suffering. Desire in impermanent and awakens the potential for future birth. (Diagnosis) |

Third noble truth |
End the cause, the effect will end as well. Dependant on finding the middle path. |

Fourth noble truth |
Path to the removal of the cause. Following the 8 fold path or 3 fold training. Realize things are impermanent. To achieve insight. |
