Breast function and anatomy: |
The breast produces milk for lactation. The epithelial component of the tissue consists of lobules (where milk is made) which connect to the nipple. |

The most common cancer worldwide in females. Screening is performed by the use of a mammogram. Screens all women between the age of 50-70 every 3 years. |
