	CORONAL PLANE	FRONTAL PLANE Divides the body into front and back. A cut along the coronal plane yields a frontal or coronal section view of the inside of the body.
	TRANSVERSE PLANE	HORIZONTAL PLANE Divides the body into upper and lower parts. A cut along the transverse plane yields a transverse section view of inside of the body.
	SAGITTAL PLANE	MEDIAN PLANE runs up and down from font and back and divides the body into right and left portions. A cut along the sagittal plane yields a sagittal section view of the inside of the body.
	CROSS SECTION	Internal view of a structure. Produced by a horizontal slice along the structure
	LONGITUDINAL SECTION	Internal view of a structure. Produced by a vertical slice along the structure.
