Joshua 1:8-9
(8) This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. (9) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
Hebrews 5:8-9
(8) Although he was a Son, he learned obedience through the things that he suffered. (9) And having been made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him, being designated by God as a high priest according to the order of Melchizedech.
John 20:30-31
(30) Now there are many other signs Jesus also performed in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. (31) But these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
Titus 2:11-14
(11) For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, (12) instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires, and to live sensibly, righteously, and godly in the present age, (13) looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, (14) who gave himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.
Acts 1:6-8
(6) So when they had come together, they were asking him, saying, "Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" (7) He said to them, "It is not for you to know the times or seasons which the Father has fixed by his own authority. (8) But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth".
Haggai 2:6-9
(6) For thus says the LORD of hosts, "Once more in a little while I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. (7) I will shake all the nations and they will come with the wealth of all the nations, and I will fill this house with glory," says the LORD of hosts. (8) "The silver is mine and the gold is mine," declares the LORD of hosts. (9) "The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former," says the LORD of hosts, "and in this place I will give peace," declares the LORD of hosts.
