Tropical Rain Forest

A Tropical Rain Forest has three layers and those are Understory, Canopy, Emergent layer.

A Tropical Rain Forest has nutrient poor soil and plants with shallow roots

Tropical Dry Forest

A Tropical Dry Forest has deciduous trees which are trees that lose their leaves and cease photosynthesis part of the year.

The plants tend to have deep roots, and a waxy coating on their leaves.

The animals in these area tend to migrate to search for food and also some animals estivate which is a deep like sleep during the dry season. Examples of animals that does estivation are snakes, hedgehogs, and desert tortoises.

Savanna

The plants in the savanna have deep roots and a waxy coating on their leaves.

During the dry season the animals tend to migrate to find water.

Desert

The Desert have plants with shallow roots and the Animals tend to be nocturnal.

Temperate Rain Forest

A Temperate Rain Forest are characterized by their tall evergreen trees(Coniferous).

Animals that require moisture, such as amphibians, thrive here.

Three examples of amphibians are newt, salamander, and a frog.

Temperate Forest

Plants in a Temperate Forest have broad leaves and the trees are deciduous.

The animals may migrate, hibernate, or store food to survive cold conditions.

Chaparral

Plants are drought-resistant, and a waxy coating on there leaves. Also they will have deep roots to resist fires.

Many animals burrow or are nocturnal to avoid heat.

Boreal Forest (Taiga)

There are coniferous trees present with waxy needles.

Also the plant life isn't present much because of the presence of Nutrient-poor, slightly acidic soil.

Tundra

A Tundra has harsh winds, nutrient-poor soil, and freezing temperatures limit plant growth.

Birds and caribou migrate to the tundra during mild summers.
